Well...

Yesterday was my Uncle John's funeral. Just over ten years since my Grandpa Houston died of Cancer as well. We all expected Grandpa Houston to outlast any other Grandparent so when they mentioned him it was rough. Both Grandpa and Uncle John went pretty quick in the end, but at least just about everyone was able to see him, he had enough time to prepare and he was ready.

It was a lot tougher emotionally then any of us imagined it would be. We all hope that it had a strong effect on Uncle Lawrence and his daughters, and that they will come to the realization of what they have turned their backs on. It was a good ceremony and good to see everyone that we haven't seen in about three or four years, even if it was under such circumstances.

Now life moves on again...

well, thursday night was a fun drive home... all two hours of it... could be worse though.

It's been one of those weeks that when you leave on the Monday you think to yourself "Thank goodness tomorrow 's Friday". As you make your way to whatever mode of transportation you may have, you come to the horrid realization that tomorrow isn't Friday and that there are far to many days in a week.

That has been my week... not the best week... not the worst. It's has been a week where I don't really feel like I've gotten anything accomplished. Rush job here, rush job there, finally get around to the stuff you were supposed to finish yesterday morning about an hour before close... normal.

I know one isn't supposed to know all that goes on in one's boss' head, that's the privilege of being boss, but how many times a day does it have to come to your own mind that you don't trust him/her. Whether it be over firings, the way the company is run, accounting issues, decisions, and the list goes on.

I guess that is life as well trained monkeys are to know it.

I've been trying out setting up this little journal with a new layout and updating from my handheld.

Well at least it works for the most part so hopefully that means that I will be updating this a little more often. Anyways I'll give a little more info on life in general next time.

Back and finallly a weekend. Well I will have to try and put more effort and I want to move this off and may be even host it elsewhere. Anyways, we shall see what the weekend holds.
