I'm nothing but a well trained monkey...

This was originally posted in another blog...Thursday, April 3, 2003 10:54:59 well, thursday night was a fun drive home... all two hours of it... could be worse though. It's been one of those weeks that when you leave on the Monday you think to yourself "Thank goodness tomorrow 's Friday". As you make your way to whatever mode of transportation you may have, you come to the horrid realization that tomorrow isn't Friday and that there are far to many days in a week. That has been my week... not the best week... not the worst. It's has been a week where I don't really feel like I've gotten anything accomplished. Rush job here, rush job there, finally get around to the stuff you were supposed to finish yesterday morning about an hour before close... normal. I know one isn't supposed to know all that goes on in one's boss' head, that's the privilege of being boss, but how many times a day does it have to come to your own mind that you don't trust him/her. Whether it be over firings, the way the company is run, accounting issues, decisions, and the list goes on. I guess that is life as well trained monkeys are to know it.
